A Coach Can Mirror Your Brilliance & Help You Get Unstuck

I can tell you how successful you will be in the coming year by finding out the 5 people you spend the most time with, the 5 books you read, and whether you have invested money into your personal growth. It is very simple really. The most successful people have a mentor, read (readers are leaders), and spend time, money, and energy to grow themselves.

Success comes from the inside out and from personal growth into a more expanded version of who you are.

When you have a people mirror helping you with your blind spots, you increase your capacity to achieve success more quickly.

A catalyst/mentor helps you look at what you need to reveal to yourself in order to grow, discover your own answers, and guide you in following your soul’s wisdom.

Nearly every successful person on the planet has at least one of these mirrors.
I am currently working with 2. They will help me get unstuck, ask the right questions, and share with me their expertise so I can shorten my learning & painful trial and error curve.

Truly the greatest gift you can give anyone is a deeper, more purposeful connection with your True Self--the you that sparkles, shines, and radiates wisdom, love and power.

Emerson said that our chief want is for someone to inspire us to be what we can be. And it is true! I myself just committed quite a bit of money, time and energy for my mentors. One for helping me access my inner presence and the other to help me build a powerful business platform.

And believe me, I have experienced 3 of the toughest years emotionally and financially of my life, and yet, I know that I am worth it! I know that when I invest in myself now, that it will pay off for a lifetime. And I know that when I expand my own consciousness, I can serve you more.

We all need to receive accurate reflections in order to be able to see our brilliance. The reason success is a struggle for so many is that we experienced distorted images of who we really are while growing up, and are never able to see the TRUE SELF.

A person mirror who is clear, clean, unconditionally accepting is wonderful and when you add their relevant experience, current knowledge and ability to articulate what you are not seeing---miracles can and do happen.

What I am talking about here is a coach, or what I am now calling myself, a Consciousness Catalyst. I hold the mirror of the true you for you to see, embrace, know, honor and love.

Think about this--How do you know the color of your own eyes?
By looking in the mirror and seeing for yourself or by someone telling you.
We can’t see ourselves in our totality without a mirror.

Would you like to finally see what is holding you back from the happiness and success that you desire?

Many times, I can identify what the block is in as little as one session!

Become a Seeker Who Also Finds

by Michelle L. Casto, Ph.D.

So you have read the books, watched the movies, and spent thousands on products that are supposed to help you finally attract what you want in life.

You have shelves of information, right?
In fact, I bet some of those very resources remain unopened and still in the package.

The real question is Do your results match your investment of time, money and energy?

Not so much?

You are not alone, my friend.
I have been there and so have many of my clients.
They too were seekers who were on a continual search for “the secret.”

Lovers of knowledge must seek, that is natural.
However we must also FIND.

Let me use a simple analogy.
If you are making a cake and forget the eggs, your cake will not turn out the way you want it to, it may not even taste good at all!
Just like with personal development, you must have all the necessary ingredients to experience a Fulfilling Life.

If your life is not happy and successful (the way you envision it), an ingredient is missing.

Let’s see what you have so far.

You have a secret dream of being someone bigger, brighter, happier, and more loving.
You want to contribute your gifts and talents to the world.
You want to liberate yourself from a mundane existence, the prison of working for not-so enlightened people, barely scraping by financially, and running low on energy.
You want to help yourself so you can help others.
You can imagine the happiness, love, and success in your mind’s eye, but still see the same old reality in your face.

And still you persist.
You absorb wisdom every day and take time to self-reflect, learn, and grow your soul.
You are gaining new insights.
You are seeing new opportunities.
You are meeting like-minded people.
You are journaling your heart out.

Exhaustion is creeping in.
You wonder: Will I ever get there?!

Not if a critical ingredient is missing.

Something that would bring everything together for you.
Something to help you stay aligned with your BIG VISION.
Something to help you fight off the demons of doubt and fear.
Something to help you put the final pieces of your success puzzle together.

If you are spiritually smart, you know it is not some Thing at all.
You realize you have gone as far as you can on this journey alone.
It is time to enlist a guide.
It is time to admit it: I need help.

Yes, you are only human and need someone.

Someone who believes in you.
Someone to keep you on the right track.
Someone to walk with you as you progress towards your dream.
Someone who has “been there, done that.”

Enter the coach.
Ara Parasheghian once said, A good coach will make his players see what they can be rather than what they are. A professional coach can help you shift from seeker to finder, from confused to confidence, from lost to found.

Do yourself a favor, go to the telephone, call a Coach, and get the support you need to succeed!
Why not try a SOUL Activation session w/ me?

How Does Your Mind Create? by Michelle L. Casto, Ph.D.

Knowing how your mind works is a great advantage in the modern world Thoughts.jpg

especially since it creates your reality.

Whether it is a happy and successful reality is up to you.

Successful (or effective) people know their own minds and recognize the relationship between their thinking and their reality.

They make spiritually smart decisions that are in alignment with a higher power source.

Successful people look within for guidance.

Unsuccessful (or ineffective) people have no clue what they are thinking and see no relationship between their thoughts and their reality.  They make unconscious decisions that are disconnected from a higher power.  Unsuccessful people look to other people for guidance.

A major problem in the world today is that human beings have not developed their thinking skills.

Here's a thought to ponder (I love brain twisters).

Just because you have a thought does not mean you are thinking!

Thoughts fly through our heads all day long (to the tune of about 65,000 a day, and 95% of those are thoughts we have already thought, and those are negative and limiting).

In this mode, we are on autopilot and going nowhere fast, circling the same territory again and again.

Thinking involves a conscious and deliberate act to monitor and choose the thoughts you want to think.

It involves asking yourself questions so you can gain insight and revelation.  It is kind of like conscious dialoguing with yourself and a higher power.

It's been said many times in the field of self-help that we become what we think about all day long.  So when we allow unconscious and negative thoughts to run through our minds all day long, guess what our reality is like?!

Not a pretty picture.

Speaking of pictures, are you aware that your brain thinks in images?

Let me demonstrate....

If I were to say--- think of a horse.

You would think of a horse

If I were to say--- think of a purple horse.

You would think of a purType Dreample horse.

If I would say--- DON'T think of a horse.

You would still think of a horse.

See what I mean!

So what are you telling yourself-what to do or what not to do?

Follow me..

If you are saying to yourself:

Don't make a mistake.

Your subconscious cannot see "don't" so it "sees" mistake and that is what you get.

In fact, research shows the brain cannot "compute" words like no, don't can't, not and yet we use them all the time.

(To do your own research, keep a log of the number of times you and those around you use these words in our daily conversations!)  You will be astonished.

I was--- especially when I did my job on the junior high campus:  "Don't run. Don't talk."  "No talking. "
Ha. The kids do just the opposite!

To grow new neural pathways in your brain,  you may want to think/say something like this:

type-passionI am completely focused and get my work done ahead of schedule.

Now your brain can go to work on how to make that happen.

To change results/reality, you will need to think empowering thoughts many times so it can sink in!

So if you are really interested in learning to overcome your "default thinking mode" and move into enlightened thinking mode, consider getting a copy of my Dissertation called the Science of Success..it will save you thousands of hours of research on the power of the brain, why coaching works, and everything you need to know in order to be more successful and happy

You know that all great thinkers have great teachers.

I have studied the BRAIN and I can help you understand yours and train it to work for you and not against you.  Watch your email for two new programs you may want to upgrade your brain (and your life)  this summer.

Rebuild Your Virtual Business.com

"Rebuild Your Virtual Business.Com"

Lady Writing BookSeminar March 6-8, 2009 in Austin, TX  for entrepreneurs who might be overwhelmed by technology, helping them reach customers world-wide and create the systems and team they need to have a purposeful and profitable online business.

An online business is quickly becoming one of the most successful ways to reach customers worldwide and rise above the current economic situation - but it works for some, and it doesn't work for others. If you want to be in the "works for" category, approach your online business with a good vision and careful planning. Then get the help you need to handle the things that you're not comfortable doing yourself.

It's no secret that the financial markets are in turmoil and that many people have lost money, or are losing it. It's also no secret that to thrive in a market such as this, most people are looking for ways to reduce their overhead and maximize their profits.

"A good part of the fear people are having over the economy is media-driven. There's always a window of opportunity during difficult times, and the World Wide Web can broaden that window in so many ways." says Ann Collins, professional project manager and business woman of 20 years. When your business is on the internet, you're truly offering your products and services to the entire world, and you're not limited to any geographic area.

But if setting up shop on the Internet is such a good idea, why isn't everyone who puts up a website wildly successful? All you have to do is throw a website up, put your products on line and the money will start rolling in. Right?

"Well - not exactly. Like any other business; you need customers. Getting visitors to your site is a lot like getting people to come into a brick and mortar business," says Michelle Casto, Ph.D. People need to know that your site exists, and you need to find ways to keep them coming back to visit you. Just because you're working online doesn't mean you can overlook professionalism, and good marketing principles.

You also need the systems in place to take orders, distribute your products, and communicate effectively with your customers. Many - if not all - of these systems are automated and require some level of technical knowledge to set up. What do you do if you don't have that knowledge? Just like any other aspect of starting a business, you find a trustworthy person to handle those things for you.

Most people fail on line for one (or all) of 3 reasons: Either they are not coming from a place of purpose, they become overwhelmed by the complexity of all the pieces required and give up, or they don't put the planning and forethought that's needed to get all the systems running smoothly and working toward their vision of an online business.

In any case, they can wind up needing to rebuild their virtual business after they've started building it - sort of like someone who's decided to remodel their own house, only to find out that they've got to call in a pro.

Meet the Pro's in action at "Rebuild Your Virtual Business.Com" seminar March 6-8, 2009 in Austin TX

When it is Time for a Change, It's Time for a Coach

inspirational7a

There is an innate drive within each of that moves us forward on a personal and spiritual path.

The process of personal and spiritual transformation starts with individual growth and proceeds toward growth that engages our souls and encourages us to become what I call called in esoteric terms "soul-centered".

This means that we become less driven by our personality and ego needs and more guided by our soul qualities.

This process has also been called "The Hero's Journey" or "The Self-Actualization Process."
It begins with a "awakening" or "wake up call" usually in the form of disappointment or disaster that shakes us out of our trance and causes us to look again at our lives and re-evaluate if who we are and what we are doing is serving our deepest self.
We maybe for the first time in our lives stop seeing the material world as the own reality and start to wonder if there is not something more.

This marks the initial "challenge to grow" that our soul initiates within us.

Perhaps you are undergoing such a calling right now. And wonder who can help you or what you can do. There is something and someone that I personally know who has been there and done that many times over, yours truly.

I have walked through the fires of confusion, loss, anger, sadness due to divorce, job changes, financial challenges, and lack of a strong emotional support network. I believe I have had these experiences so that I could show YOU the way and for others who are going through "the storms of life" now.

The time is now for transformation.

It is a new era and we are poised with the opportunity to bring in a new consciousness, and co-create a new reality. Why? Because the light within each of us has been turned on, and it's our job to turn that light on brighter and brighter until all false thought forms dissolve in the light of our Truth.

I have 3 levels of Soul Coaching:
    Soul Awakening
    Soul Purpose
    Soul Mastery

Each one building on the last and increasing your personal activation. As I evolve myself and my coaching practice, entrance into the Soul Purpose and Soul Mastery levels will be contingent on experiencing the Awakening level, so we will be on the same page with our philosophy and language.

Coaching is the universal language of change and growth and accelerates your success. It is what works!

The Day I Decided a Job Was Too Small for My Soul

  Colorful Dove
  by Michelle L. Casto, Ph.D

For a few years, I desperately tried to fit a square peg in a round hole in the corporate environment.
And guess what, it was not pretty.
During that time, I thought there was something wrong with me because I had all the worldly success symbols--- college degrees, a good job with a big name company, benefits, etc, and yet;
I was miserable.

In fact, the whole situation was making me sick.

The culture was toxic---politics and favorites reigned supreme.  I am sure you know what I am talking about.

I just about burned myself out in my twenties, just going to work, coming home, falling into bed, and doing it all again day after day.  I especially resented how my time was dictated, especially my days off.

I found out later that many organizations, just like families, are highly dysfunctional and those who know how to play the game get rewarded, while those with integrity and heart, are seen as threats to the system (aka status quo).

I once got reprimanded for being too passionate!

I told the supervisor, "I thought I was supposed to care about my job and those that I serve!"
I knew I was in trouble when I kept having dreams about work that would wake me in the middle of the night!

The real deal breaker, though, was when my personal values conflicted with the organization's values---they seemed willing to do just about anything to make a buck.

For me, the typical 9-5 work situation felt more like a self-created prison.

I held the belief then and certainly do now, that work not only could be fun, it was supposed to be fun. I knew I had to find something else or I was going to be unhappy for a really long time---like my whole life.

I decided very early on in my career that I was not going to find what I was looking for in a traditional work environment.

One day, I woke up and just said, Today I choose to be happy. I Quit my job and have not looked back since.

Gratefully, I followed my inner guidance and was led to Life Coaching. Over the course of these years, I have had many wonderful mentors and coaches, and all have helped me grow in different ways.
That was over 15 years ago, and Coaching is the best job on the planet for me because I get to help people clarify and claim their dreams. And then we work together in partnership as those dreams become their new reality.

Of course, being self-employed also has its good days and bad days, positives and negatives. However, I would not my freedom for any amount of money in the world.

Everyday I wake up and thank God for the work that I do, the people I work with, and the lifestyle it affords me. You can have the same experience just by being willing to learn a new way of life.

The following article is by Jim Rohn and was published in his weekly ezine.

Each of us has two distinct choices to make about what we will do with our lives. The first choice we can make is to be less than we have the capacity to be. To earn less. To have less. To read less and think less. To try less and discipline ourselves less. These are the choices that lead to an empty life. These are the choices that, once made, lead to a life of constant apprehension instead of a life of wondrous anticipation.

And the second choice? To do it all! To become all that we can possibly be. To read every book that we possibly can. To earn as much as we possibly can. To give and share as much as we possibly can. To strive and produce and accomplish as much as we possibly can. All of us have the choice.

To do or not to do. To be or not to be. To be all or to be less or to be nothing at all.

Like the tree, it would be a worthy challenge for us all to stretch upward and outward to the full measure of our capabilities. Why not do all that we can, every moment that we can, the best that we can, for as long as we can?

Our ultimate life objective should be to create as much as our talent and ability and desire will permit. To settle for doing less than we could do is to fail in this worthiest of undertakings.

Results are the best measurement of human progress. Not conversation. Not explanation. Not justification. Results! And if our results are less than our potential suggests that they should be, then we must strive to become more today than we were the day before. The greatest rewards are always reserved for those who bring great value to themselves and the world around them as a result of who and what they have become.

Is Your Spirit Working? By Michelle L. Casto

In every community there is work to be done. In every nation there are wounds to heal. In every heart there is power to do it.
---Marianne Williamson

Confucius once said, Choose a career you love and you will never work another day in your life.

If you think about this, what a different experience we could have in our work lives. If we actually loved the work we were doing, it would not seem so much like our traditional concept of work (drudgery/pain). Think about it! How many jobs have you had that you dreaded going to? What are some of the differences between a job, a career, and your life work? Let us define it.

A job is something you get paid to do (money is the primary motivation). It is easy to perform because there is not much challenge, and you will eventually find other work to do.

It may or may not fully engage you. Spirit may or may not be present.

A career is something you get paid to do that is viewed as a profession (status or identity is the motivation). It may provide more challenge, but after a while, you may get burned out, and choose to stop doing it.

It may or may not fully engage you. Spirit may or may not be present.

Your life work is something you do whether you get paid for it or not (your souls need for expression is the motivation). There is plenty of challenge and personal meaning. You will always want to do it.

It definitely fully engages you. Spirit is present.

Remember that a job can get you started toward your life work. In fact, jobs provide the very important element of exposure to different kinds of industries. Take for example, a woman who started out working in a department store as a clerk, who moved into a management position, and finally created her life work as an independent contractor who trains others in customer service skills.

To find out if your spirit is working, place a check next to the statements that sound like you in your present work environment.

Using your life force
Sharing innate gifts and talents
Doing work that is meaningful and fulfilling
In service to other human beings
Your inner light shines
You are standing up for something you believe in
World benefits from what you do
You have a unique way of doing it
Creativity, passion, and purpose are present
Your intentions and actions match
You are propelled by a larger life purpose
Integration of being and doing
(balance of feminine and masculine energies)
Soul leads you through the process
(there are no instructions, no right or wrong way!)
You feel lost and unsure of how to make it happen
Fully engaged, frequent moments of flow & inspiration
You are stepping into your Greatness
Increased awareness and sensitivity
Deeper thoughts, higher level thinking
Questioning the status quo
You feel energized after a
hard day at work
Inner feelings of peace & contentment
(like you have found the right path)
Non-traditional, shatters the box
(requires you to venture into unknown territory)
Opportunity to really express who you really are
Desire to be surrounded or create beauty
Freedom to do it your own way
Discovering skills and talents you never knew you had
Being scared sometimes
Desire to
right things
You feel turned on, lit up, excited, enthusiastic
No longer want to settle for ordinary or mediocrity
Longing for change and newness
Broader perspective, see more of the big picture
Shift to wanting to learn more , be more, and do more
Relying more on intuition to make life decisions

***The more checks you have, the more your spirit is at work.

Spiritual work elevates society and is personally fulfilling. When your spirit is working, you are sharing more of who you really are. As a result your work is performed from a level of love, a higher energy and true sense of purpose, which transforms everyone and everything around you.
